Notepad++ has many new versions but i suggest you to use Notepad++ 4.8.2 only because the higher versions of notepad++ are a bit complex. Notepad++ allows you to store your programs in any drive and makes your programming better and better. You can use this command prompt for execution of your programs. Notepad++ contains a inbuilt command prompt. When you will work with notepad++ then you will not face this problem. For few programs you can perform this but doing this again and again is very hectic and after sometime it will irritate you. Īfter opening command prompt you have to go to the directory where your java program is stored and then you will need to go the folder where your program is present. If we are using notepad or wordpad for writing our Java Programs then for their execution we have to open Command Prompt.
